Indonesia is a country that has many cultures and traditions such as traditional events such as traditional dances, marriage ceremonies, death ceremonies, thanksgiving ceremonies and any more. The reason for choosing this title is because Orom Sasa'du Traditions In Tibobo Village, West Halmahera, North Mollucas is unique and researchers are interested in raising this title. In this study, researchers use qualitative methods in descriptive form because the data will be analyzed in qualitative form . The purpose of writing this thesis is to explain the meaning of symbols in Orom Sasa'du which has become the culture of the Sahu Tribe in West Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province. The methods used are: conducting relevant literature reviews from scientific journals, research results, books and secondary data relevant to the topic of thesis writing, then analyzed and explained descriptively. The results of the thesis discussion concluded that The Meaning of symbols, "Orom Sasa'du” tradition in village, West Halmahera, North Mollucas shows as a place for the implementation of traditional ceremonies Orom Sasa'du, the implementation of this traditional ceremony is usually carried out during the harvest as a form of gratitude and deliberation. The results of this study indicate that the role of the traditional institution of Tibobo village, North Maluku district, is very helpful for the community in having awareness and understanding of Orom sasa'du cultural science, which is very important to maintain so that this tradition is carried out every year.
