HUBUNGAN BEBAN KERJA PERAWAT DENGAN RESPONSE TIME PADA PENANGANAN PASIEN DI IGD RUMAH SAKIT BHAYANGKARA MANADO

Abstrak

Emergency patient services are services that require immediate service, namely fast, precise, and careful to prevent death and disability. Where the workload of nurses in emergency patient care will affect response time which is an indicator of service quality, where nurses play a very important role (time saving is life saving) that time is life and response time is an indicator of the process to achieve the outcome indicator that is survival. The aim of the research is to know the relationship between nurse workload and response time in handling patients in the IGD at Bhayangkara Hospital, Manado.

This research is a type of research used is quantitative, with the research design used is cross sectional. The research was carried out from 16 to 22 December 2022 in the Bhayangkara Hospital Emergency Room. Sampling technique using total sampling, namely 31 respondents. The statistical test used is the Chi Square test (χ²) with a significance limit of α = 0.05.

The results showed that the P value = 0.000, the value of α <0.05 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, so there is a relationship between the workload of nurses and the response time in handling patients in the IGD of Bhayangkara Hospital, Manado.

The conclusion from the research results is that there is a relationship between nurse workload and response time in handling patients in the IGD at Bhayangkara Hospital, Manado.
