Hubungan Peran Serta Kader Kesehatan Dengan Pencegahan Demam Berdarah Dengue Di Kelurahan Perkamil Kota Manado

Abstrak

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus belonging to the Arthropod-Borne Virus, the genus Flavivirus, and the family Flaviridae. throughout the year and can attack all age groups, DHF is closely related to environmental conditions and people's behavior. DHF is mostly found in tropical and subtropical areas. This research is a descriptive type of research using a cross sectional study that is descriptive analytic in April 2022 and the research location is in the Perkamil Village, Manado City. The sampling technique used is the total population of 30 respondents. The statistical test used is the "Chi-square" statistical test with a 95% confidence degree if < 0.05. The results showed that the participation of health cadres was mostly active and the prevention of dengue hemorrhagic fever had mostly been carried out or there were efforts to prevent DHF, the P value = 0.007 while the value = 0.05 so that the P value = 0.007 < Thus Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted, then there is a relationship between the Role of Health Cadres and Prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the Perkamil Village, Manado City. Conclusion From the results of the research on the role of health cadres, most of them are active and the prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Perkamil Village has mostly been carried out. Suggestions in this study are that this research can be used as information material so that the public can know what to do to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever
